It’s time to get radical. It’s time to accept that what we are doing isn’t working and that we are presiding over a sponsored sleepwalk towards the slow, painful death of an entire generation.
A common mistake schools make when it comes to spending their PE and sport premium is to simply facilitate more sporting activity for already sporty pupils. It seems to be an obvious way to get more hours of physical activity into the OFSTED portfolio - but we all need to work harder to get the impact we need.
Getting inactive kids active and increasing your impact

There is a phrase in the wording of the PE and School Sports premium that clearly lays out one of the biggest challenges facing schools: '...support and involve the least active children by providing targeted activities, and running or extending school sports and holiday clubs' - this blog looks at some of the issues and offers a few practical and effective ways to overcome them.
